XBB PP-CAN-FD
XBB PP-CAN-FD is a powerful and flexible solution that combines the functionality of XBB PowerUnit® and XBB Dongle® in a single unit. This reduces the number of components required for installation while providing increased flexibility and durability.
Unlike a standard XBB Dongle installation, PP-CAN-FD connects directly to the vehicle's internal CAN bus, making it ideal for installations where the diagnostic/OBD port cannot or should not be used. Its fully potted construction provides significantly greater protection than a traditional PowerUnit and makes the module particularly well suited for demanding environments where resistance to moisture, weather and external conditions is essential.
PP-CAN-FD features two controllable 10 A outputs, allowing accessories such as auxiliary lights and LED light bars to be controlled directly through the module.
When more power is required, the two outputs can be combined to provide a total output capacity of 20 A.
For installations requiring even greater capacity, the system can be expanded with up to four additional XBB PowerUnit units. XBB PowerUnit 6 and Smart Button can also be integrated into the system.
By combining CAN bus communication and power control in one compact unit, PP-CAN-FD reduces the amount of components and wiring required. It also enables a discreet installation without an external Dongle connected to the vehicle's diagnostic port.
This makes PP-CAN-FD particularly suitable for installations where high capacity, reliability and resistance to harsh conditions are required.
