The Ledson Alfa21 Gen2 is a powerful 21-inch LED light bar featuring a Driving Beam pattern and Powerboost, allowing you to choose between E-approved operation and a more powerful light mode with significantly increased range.
In E-approved mode according to ECE R112, the light reaches 1 lux at 463 metres. With Powerboost activated, the range increases to 1 lux at 790 metres. Powerboost mode is not E-approved.
This allows the light output to be adapted to different driving conditions, seasons and requirements.
The Alfa21 Gen2 uses computer-designed Driving Beam reflectors to produce an even and well-balanced light pattern. The beam has characteristics similar to a Combo Beam but is optimised to comply with applicable regulations when used in E-approved mode.
The light pattern is designed to enhance and complement the vehicle's existing high beams, providing improved visibility when driving in the dark.
A colour temperature of 5000K provides a clear and natural light.
The Alfa21 Gen2 offers two output modes:
• E-approved mode: 1 lux at 463 metres
• Powerboost: 1 lux at 790 metres
Powerboost is activated by removing the fuse located by the DTP/ATP connector. This higher-output mode provides the maximum lighting performance of the light bar but is not E-approved.
The LED light bar is equipped with a 2-pin DTP connector. A compatible DT/DTP relay wiring kit is available separately.
For a straightforward installation, Ledson Connect can be used. The system also provides flexibility for future expansion with additional auxiliary lights or LED light bars.
The Alfa21 Gen2 can be mounted directly to the vehicle at a suitable mounting point or installed using accessories such as a licence plate bracket or tube mount. A specially designed mounting bracket for the Alfa21 Gen2 is also available (here).
With an IP69K rating, the light bar offers a very high level of protection against water and dust, making it well suited for demanding conditions on a vehicle.

The DTP/ATP connector must not be cut. Cutting the connector increases the risk of moisture damage and will void the product warranty. A male DTP/ATP connector with splice is included.
